This department was unable/unwilling to be transparent of their decision process in deciding the merits of refund requests I really hope that you reconsider your decision, but at least as an apology, give me that 90k points that I worked hard on! This is an unprofessional way of handling a customer with good credit, especially one that has multiple accounts with citi, amex, discover, etc. I am also disappointed that I didn't get my bonus I am working so hard on, that now put me in the RED!! I am very disappointed as I do want to have a relationship with chase, and there is no reason why they are refusing me. I git a call back that there's was nothing to do about it. I called the chase executive office to open a dispute. Everything was going smooth, I was doing the spending, and out of the blue I recieved a letter stating, "Your account will be closed on 5th due to an older account that was once closed previously." I did have an account closed over 3 years prior, yet they still accepted me for this new account, and then 2 months into me working hard to try to hit the spending for the bonus, they decide to shut down my account?!? The card was running a 90k promotional offer after $6k spend. I was approved for a chase ink card, with a credit score over 770. Purchase tickets for my sister realized it had the wrong name on the ticket even though I put her name in the information but somehow it auto filled I canceled the ticket less then 20 minutes Was told I would be refunded within 24 to 48 hrs it happen on a Saturday so I gave it to Wednesday no refund yet still pens Chase said it was United Airlines holding up the process so I called United Airlines they said they released the funds and it is Chase holding up the funds I have this conversation on Saturday for about 1 hour Today On the phone with United Airlines and Chase for 3 hours going back and forth on who is holding up the funds United said to call back Chase I did ask for a supervisor I told him the story and that United said they released the fund the same day it was canceled the supervisor said o in that case it would take up to 14 days for the refund to appear on Chase end and proceeded to tell me all refunds and transactions can take that long No it doesn’t it takes no longer then 48 hours I have proof on the app when it was purchased and when it was charged same as refunds NO WAY SHOULD CHASE BE HOLDING ANYBODIES MONEY THAT LONG WHO DO THEY THINK THEY ARE
